Beauty & The Beast

If you are a fan of the ballet, you probably already have tickets for the Orlando Ballet's production of Beauty and The Beast.  However, if you usually hear the word "ballet" and tune out, you might want to take a second look at this.  This show is something pretty incredible.

Macbeth Studio was lucky enough to be invited to shoot at last night's dress rehearsal, thanks to our friend Nicole Dupré — The Empress of Orlando — who is the director of the makeup department at the Ballet.  She's responsible for creating the look for all the characters, and her pièce de résistance is The Beast, who requires 45 minutes of prosthetics and makeup before each performance to attain full ferocity.

The show runs this weekend only (April 29 - May 1), and you can still purchase tickets.
